Project: FNM TAF Revamping RAMS [2021-2022]
All RAMS activities necessary for Homologation Process of Italian FNM TAF rolling stock revamped were carried out (HA 402 CSM for APL and AMIS Homologation release, Reliability Analysis and report, FMECA Analysis and report , FTA for Critical and Important failures, Maintenability Analysis with RCM methodology, Spare part calcutation) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.

Project: TAF Revamping RAMS [2017-2019]
There was requested all RAMS activities necessary for Homologation Process of Italian TI TAF rolling stock revamped (HA 402 CSM for APL and AMIS Homologation release, Reliability Analysis and report, FMECA Analysis and report , FTA for Critical and Important failures, Maintenability Analysis with RCM methodology, Spare part calcutation) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.
Project: RAMS analysis of the BART diagnostic train (Bay Area RapidTransit line of San Francisco – USA) [2019]
As part of support activities for the customer’s Homologation function, the FMECA analysis of the rolling stock brake system was performed. The analyzed brake system is a Pneumatic Brake type made by WABTEC Locomotive products – Standard MIL-STD-1629A.
Project: Complete Passenger Information DISPLAY (TFT and LED Matrix) Customer Product Line [2016-2018]
The products are based on a TFT LCD display or LED Matrix technology. There was requested from final customers all RAMS activities (RAMS PLAN, HAZOP, Reliability report, FMEA, FTA). Customer support also for certification activities to the EU 1302/2014 regulation of railway interoperability (TSI) with participation in the assessment activities carried out by the certification bodies in charge – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.
Project: BCU Redundant CPU board for SIL2 (brake control) and SIL3 (antiskid control) RAMS. [2014-2016]
The board is based on redundant Freescale Kinetis K70 family and a supervisor circuit based on Xlinx Spartan. There was a dedicated HW SIL3 watch dog circuit (HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, Safety Report and support to ISA SIL Assessment) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126, EN 50129.
Project: Event recorder (DSTM module) for DIS system (TRENITALIA specific requiriment) [2015-2016]
The product is based on a CPU board (Freescale ARM CORTEX A9 iMX6 family) and several communication custom designed electronic boards. There was requested from customer all RAMS activities (Reliability report based on IEC 62380 and FMEA) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126, IEC 62380.
Project: Passenger Information DISPLAY [2014-2015]
The product is based on a CPU board (Freescale ARM CORTEX A9 iMX6 family) and TFT LCD display. There was requested from final Bombardier customer (CROSSRAIL) RAMS activities included the reliability validation plan (HAZOP, Reliability report, FMEA, FTA, Reliability test report based on HALT Endurance test procedures) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.

The product is based on a CPU board (Freescale Kinetis K70 family There was requested from final ALSTOM customer RAMS activities included LCC and spare part calculation (HAZOP, Reliability report, FMECA, FTA, LCC report) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.
Research Project: GRAIL2 – WP4 – Safety Case for GNSS-UT in SIL2 (Enhanced Odometry based on Galileo-GNSS receivers for position and speed detection). [2010-2012]
There was requested from consortium RAMS activities (HAZOP, Reliability report, FMECA, FTA, Safety case for SIL2) – CENELEC Standard: EN 50129, EN 50126.
RAMS for INFRASTRUCTURE
Project: Metro Passenger Information DISPLAY and Power Distribution System for Platform Screen Door [2018-2021]
Support to the customer with the role of RAM and Safety Manager for the project of the Passenger Information Display (PID) system of the Dubai Expolink 2020 Metro. The PID is the innovative video-wall with the longest LCD-TFT technology in the world (85 m) which will be installed in a stationary railway application integrated into the PSD system (Passenger Screen Doors). RAMS activities including the reliability demonstration plan (HAZOP, reliability report, FMECA, FTA, maintenance plan, maintainability analysis, maintenance and V & V plan) were requested by the end customer (Dubai EXPOLINK 2020 consortium) procedures, LCC calculation). The activity foresees for the role of Safety Manager the direct participation in safety analysis workshops that take place in Dubai and foreseen in the verification and validation of functional safety with the client ALSTOM and the final customer RTA Emirates – CENELEC Standard: EN 50126.
