The National Agency for Railway Safety (ANSF) has issued a new Authorization for Commissioning (AMIS) of the first TAF-39 trainset of the TRENITALIA applicant.
Assigned to Rome Depot, the TAF-39 convoy since 09 December 2018 is in regular shift of passenger service with the other Roman TAF trains on the lines of the Rome Capital.
The design and execution of the renewal of the fleet of 64 TAF trains was committed to Titagarh Firema SpA. company that has carried out the updating of the components in the “Officine Grandi Riparazioni” workshop in Foggia.
BT Ingenium srls, as part of the procedure for the request of AMIS of the TAF trains subject to modification (revamping), on behalf of its client Titagarh Firema has performed the fundamental risk assessment analysis related to the impact of the renewal modifications carried out on the pre-existing rolling stock in accordance with Regulation EU / 2013/402 (EU Regulation 402). This safety analysis has been prepared in accordance with §8.5 of the ANSF Guidelines No. 2/2013.
Moreover, for the same TAF project, BT Ingenium has contributed to the realization of part of the project documentation to be delivered to the ANSF agency in support of the request for obtaining AMIS, and in particular performed the technical dossier of the RAMS analysis according to EN 50126 ( FMECA, plans and analysis of preventive and corrective maintenance), the conformity of materials to fire resistance (EN 45545-2) and the execution of Clause By Clause of conformity of the design to the codes of good practice (EN standards and TSI regulations) .
